36 Person Hybrid Camp

To support construction of additional infrastructure in the Kimberley region, Rapid Camps were engaged to design, supply and install a turnkey 36-person trailer-mounted workforce camp. The goal was to provide a fully operational, self-sufficient accommodation solution for construction workers, ensuring they had access to essential amenities in a remote location. A large emphasis was placed on optimising workforce well-being and comfort for the duration of the project, with the camp purpose built, to meet the specific needs of the personnel.

Located near the Northern Territory border, the remote nature of the project posed logistical challenges, limited access to phone service and time constraints around transport. Rapid Camps overcame these challenges and were able to rapidly deploy a hybrid camp consisting of trailer-mounted and transportable assets utilising efficient construction methods throughout the build. The camp was successfully installed in a short timeframe, showcasing strong project management and execution

The project scope included 36 ensuite accommodation units, kitchen, site office, gym, laundries and other essential central facilities. The client was provided with a dependable power system made up of two generators with remote monitoring and a submain distribution board for a reliable plug and play energy supply. The camp was purpose built to offer safe, comfortable and high-quality conditions to all personnel and support construction operations.
