400 Person Modular Camp

To support the client’s growing project workforce, Rapid Camps was initially engaged to design, supply, and install a 100-person workforce camp at the Junction site. Following the successful delivery of this initial camp, Rapid Camps was re-engaged to deliver a 300-person workforce camp expansion. The project aimed to deliver a functional, scalable, and fully integrated accommodation solution, ensuring that personnel had access to high-quality living spaces while maintaining seamless site operations.

With the client’s project and operations expanding, the need for immediate workforce housing became a priority, requiring rapid deployment infrastructure. The project’s primary challenge was the urgent need for additional accommodation, requiring fast installation and seamless integration with the site’s existing infrastructure.

The remote location and tight delivery timeline added logistical complexities, making efficient project management critical. To overcome these hurdles, Rapid Camps employed modular construction techniques that allowed for quick deployment with minimal disruption to ongoing site activities. Dedicated on-site maintenance personnel were also assigned to ensure continuous operational efficiency. The expansion was designed with self-sustaining infrastructure, including upgraded water treatment plants, power supply and communication solutions. Two full-time maintenance personnel were stationed on-site on a rolling roster to ensure smooth operations and address any infrastructure maintenance needs as they arose.

Delivered on time and within budget, the Junction Camp project reinforced Rapid Camps’ expertise in providing turnkey workforce accommodation solutions.
